Smithy’s chef, Memo, has always been a great fan of oysters. Three times a week a fresh supply of Grade A rock oysters is delivered directly to his kitchen after an overnight trip from Poole Harbour in Dorset, which he serves as a starter all the year round.
His latest innovation is a succulent venison and oyster pie which has already proved very popular with Smithy’s clientele.
