KING’S CROSS BUSINESS FORUM: CONNECTING BUSINESS
THE Kings Cross Business Forum is a non profit making group of local business people. There are around 2,800 businesses in the immediate geographic area but probably many more who come to Kings Cross, St Pancras or Euston stations or who would like to do business here and the biggest regeneration projects in Europe and one of the most vibrant night-life scenes in the capital.
King’s Cross is not just an area, but a cross roads or an idea. The station alone is the busiest in Britain. The neighbouring St Pancras links trains through not just to Paris but Milan, Spain and beyond. It is one of the most vibrant parts of one of the greatest capital cities in the world.
The business forum aims to harness that energy and create new initiatives for the people who work or trade in the area, to improve the working environment and speak up for an area that for generations was down trodden but over the next decade is likely to become the epicentre of the new London.
There are events, networking, projects and great business ideas that are on going plus the forum can be a useful place to help get things done by meeting the kind of people who can help your business.
I used to work on the KXBF via Camden Council – I’m pleased to see it has become independent though I think it is a mistake not to use the existing brand of KXBF on the website.
